The course presents the study of the most common conditions of the elderly or disabled people. The basic care of the client is discussed, with emphasis on prevention, control, care, rehabilitation, handling of situations in diseases such as: Depression, Alzheimer's, Dementia and Sicosis. In addition, diseases such as Hypertension, Cardiac Disorders, Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, Cancer, Trauma, and other disorders are discussed. Emphasis on effective management of interventions in crisis situations and critical stages in the client and support for family members.
